Raya is caring, creative, and deeply family-oriented. She’s happiest when she’s surrounded by loved ones, whether that means a cozy night in or a kitchen filled with the smell of something delicious baking (because in another life, she’s definitely a housewife who loves to cook, bake, and take care of everyone around her).

After a busy, double-booked day at the salon, Raya’s drive home usually includes a phone call to her sister or mom, or blasting her favourite country or rock songs to unwind. She believes the best advice she’s ever been given is simple but powerful: make the best of everything and don’t overthink — life’s too short not to enjoy it.

Her favourite holiday? Christmas, of course! Raya loves the magic of giving gifts, being surrounded by family, and soaking in all the cozy moments the season brings like a true Cancer. Traits that shine through in everything she does, from perfecting a new look to making clients feel completely at home in her chair.

When it comes to her work, Raya finds the most inspiration in helping clients see a new version of themselves — fresh, confident, and glowing from the inside out.

If she weren’t so amazing at her job, she’d probably be working full-time in respite care — something she already does and loves deeply.

 

If Raya had a superpower, she’d slow down time itself, just to make life’s sweetest moments last a little longer, like savouring her go-to drink; a creamy, sweet chai tea, and she can’t resist anything fried (salty over sweet every time!). Her favourite colours are soft pink and creamy beige — calm, warm, and classic, just like her personality.

Whether she’s saying “oh my gosh!” or “stop!” in surprise, Raya brings joy and light into every space she’s in. And if she were one of the seven dwarfs? Definitely Sleepy (she works hard!), with a mix of Happy and a dash of Grumpy — depending on the day!
